How to file a complaint

The Barnstable Police Department prides itself on the professionalism and character of the officers who wear our badge.

If you have had an interaction with a Barnstable Police Officer that has not been professional and you would like to file a complaint. Please notify the Watch Commander at 508.775.0387 option #8. Or, feel free to email the professional standards office.
