Officer Hailie Hope

Officer Hope is a patrol officer and adopt-a- school officer assigned to Barnstable West Barnstable Elementary School. Officer Hope was also a student in the Barnstable Public School and graduated from BHS in 2018. After high school Officer Hope went to 

Cape Cod Community College and achieved her associates degree in Criminal Justice. Officer Hope at Cape Cod Community College did an internship with Barnstable Police and was a Community Service Officer with BPD for three years. Officer Hope after Cape Cod Community College transferred to Westfield State University and achieved her Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice in 2025. Officer Hope hopes to continue her education and get her Masters Degree. 

Officer Hope was sworn into the Barnstable Police Department in August of 2022. Officer Hope since being with the department has attended a variety of trainings such as Domestic Violence, Threat Assessment, Human and Child Trafficking, The National Association of School Resource Officers, and Mental Health training. Additionally Officer Hope is a certified sexual assault investigator. 

Officer Hope was inspired to become an Adopt- A- School officer and police officer from her High School’s School Resource Officer. Officer Hope is motivated to make an impact in the lives of the youth in the community. In Officer Hope’s free time she like to go on motorcycles ride with her significant other and make flower bouquets.
